Who we are
We hold the price down so more people can get on snow
Inclusive Ski Touring is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Hanover, Maine. A guided introduction to touring runs about $150 for a half day on resort and $255 for a day in the backcountry. We charge $20 and $150. Donors, sponsors, partner mountains and volunteers close the gap.
We have a shop or rental partner at every location we run, and we negotiate a discounted rate there for our participants. Every day is no-drop, and if our fee is the part that would stop you, it can be waived in full.
Most people start with one of our on-resort programs and progress into the backcountry from there, on guided days on Mt. Washington. Past that: ski and splitboard mountaineering, AIARE Level 1 avalanche education, and affinity days all season for women and nonbinary, LGBTQ+ and trans, BIPOC, and over-40 participants.
Last season 569 people toured with us across seven partner mountains, seven in ten out with us for the first time. Since 2022, 2,089 different individuals have gone touring with us.

Where your support goes
Last season, our community turned $77,630 into $249,763 of value.
That is $3.22 of subsidized instruction, volunteer expertise and local impact for every dollar raised. A $20 gift puts one person on snow for a day. $150 covers a full day of guided backcountry touring.
