Mt. Abram Women’s Program

Description

Our Mt. Abram Women's program is designed to create an inclusive, empowering space for women and non-binary individuals to learn ski touring or split-boarding, while connecting with others in the community. The program fosters a supportive environment where no one is rushed or left behind. With subsidized costs and a no-apology policy, it welcomes all skill levels and celebrates the unique perspectives and experiences of participants.

Our Women’s Programs are made possible in part through support from Blizzard Tecnica’s Women 2 Women program and the Hilaree Nelson Fund, which helps us keep these days welcoming, low barrier, and financially accessible. We are deeply grateful for this partnership and the direct impact it has on who is able to show up, learn, and tour in community.

Mt. Abram is a classic, family-friendly ski area in Greenwood, Maine, with a welcoming, down-to-earth vibe that makes it easy to learn, explore, and connect on snow. From their groomed trails to their cozy base area, it is a place that feels like home for new and returning skiers and riders alike. We are incredibly grateful to Mt. Abram and all of their employees for welcoming Inclusive Ski Touring programs in 2026 and for the ongoing support, care, and community they share with our participants.
